I guess this is the time for ALL of us,everyone that participated in SYF to calm down and think.Right now,there is a sea of hihg emotions running through.Before I start typing out what I want to say,I have to make this to clear to all those people that whatever I say,I am seriously not siding anyone.I m a person with sides with reason and not relation.

First of all, I know all of you are pissed with the seniors wrote.In my opinion,I do not blame them at all.Neither should you all too.Re-read the entries that they wrote and think with your heart, are their words really true? They do not just blog for no reason.It must be something that have triggered their emotions that made them blog in such manner.Usage of words maybe harsh but thats' their character.They are just being frank.I n my opinion, I think,the only factor that we could blame on for getting the bronze is TIME MANAGEMENT.

Think about it.Reason why we could achieve at silver at Hawaii is because we REALLY practise the pieces and lots of time and effort have been spent on it.For SYF,think about the effort and time we put in for the set piece and choice piece.Choice piece ,we obviously did well cause we have double practice for it but Safari, we only have limited practice on it.Going to Hawaii was a gamble,and we took this gamble.Since we decided to take the gamble,we should face the losses bravely.I think,we could have done much better if we did not go to Hawaii.Not that Im regretting about Hawaii,but I just feel that its TIME MANAGEMENT that caused our downfall.

Secondly,the seniors are not insulting us.What they really mean and what they are pissed about is our attitude.I admit, I was kinda of dissapointed with a tinge of pissness when I read those entries at first but after talking to Adlin and re-reading the entries,I finally saw their point.Its true that we were passing the blame around like some dutch.When we heard bronze, most of us just came up with a conclusion that standards were raised and that SYF this year was so screwed up.None of us actually blame it on ourselves.Reason being that we achieve a silver at International level.When we could not figured out why,we simply just conclude that SYF standards were raised and end of story.No doubt we did improved and the performance sounded great but to the judges s' ears,they may sound different.We have to accept the fact that SYF standards were raised and like what nat mentioned,we are not there yet.I m guilty for not blaming myself.This I admit.

Moreover,to those that were pissed and feel insulted by the senrios,THINK again.WHY would your OWN seniors insult you? Do you think they are enjoying every moment of it when they hurl vulgarities at you or insult you for this SYF? We have known them for quite long and some of us are even on great terms with them.This would probably be the first time they said us so badly cause they are concern for us.Its not about the medal that they are talking now,its the bands' attitude that are pissing them off.Its not worth breaking the connection between the seniors and us over such matters.

No doubt the seniors were wrong in not supporting us and all but the UNDERLYING meaning is that they are not happy with our attitude.They are not looking down on us for the bronze.This I dare say.Cause it pains them equally to hear that our band has gotten a bronze.Not that they expected us to feel jubilant about or sad BUT they want us to do soul-searching.No one expected the bronze and no one deserve the bronze.But when things do not go your way,its' time to think about what went wrong and why didnt it go your way.What piss them of is that none of us bother to think what went wrong and just slammed down a conclusion that its the judges fault and all.THIS is the UNDERLYING meaning among their harsh post and conversations.

Thirdly, I know seniors have no right to judge us cause they did not hear the sound and all.For my opinion,I just think that no matter what,they ARE still our seniors.No matter how dsirespectful they maybe or whatsoever, THEY were the ones that taught us things and skills.By blogging such harsh entries to fight back,you are doing nothing but biting the hand that feeds you.Think, if they really WANT to insult you or want to the band to fail,do you think they will still care so much bout the band ever after they left? If they really hated HIM so much,would they even bother to teach you when HE first took over?

This more or less about what I wanted to say.Last thing to clear,for myself ( I AM SO NOT MATERIALISTIC) lol.There,I m done.lol.Whatever it is,I really hope that you people do not hold any grudges against the seniors.I do not care if I become public enemy number one but I just feel that something ought to be done about this.In a calm and compose manner.
